Create your Khata Tracker account, configure your business profile, and start recording transactions in under 10 minutes.

Step-by-step guide

   Create your account

   Download the Khata Tracker app from the Play Store, App Store, or visit the web dashboard at app.khatatracker.com. Sign up with your mobile number or Google account. A one-time OTP verifies your identity and creates your profile securely.

   Set up your business profile

   Go to Settings > Business Profile and fill in your business name, address, GSTIN (if applicable), and logo. This information automatically appears on all invoices and reports you generate, giving your documents a professional look.

   Choose your business type

   Select the industry that best matches your business — retail, wholesale, restaurant, services, or manufacturing. Khata Tracker customises default tax rates, unit types, and workflow shortcuts based on your selection to save you time.

   Configure tax settings

   Navigate to Settings > Tax & GST and enable GST if you are a registered taxpayer. Enter your tax slabs (0%, 5%, 12%, 18%, or 28%) and decide whether prices in your catalog will be entered inclusive or exclusive of tax.

   Add your first product or service

   Go to Inventory > Items and tap "Add Item". Enter the product name, selling price, tax rate, opening stock quantity, and a reorder threshold. Your catalog is now ready for billing and purchase entries.

   Record your first sale

   Head to Sales > New Invoice, select a customer, add items from your catalog, and tap "Save & Share". Khata Tracker will generate a professional PDF invoice that you can share via WhatsApp or email directly from the app.
